Sega’s Two Point Hospital sequel, Two Point Campus, leaks via MS Store

The first details of Sega’s Two Point Campus, the unannounced sequel to 2018’s Two Point Hospital, have leaked via a Microsoft Store listing.

According to the store listing, the management sim sequel will release for consoles and PC and have players building “the university of your dreams”.

“Get to know your students, explore their personalities and fulfill their wants and needs,” the listing read. “Craft buildings, choose courses, hire the best staff and build an academic institution to stand the test of time.”

For the first time in the series, Campus will allow players to manage their outdoor environment, placing down buildings, trees, pathways and decorations to shape their university.

“But, of course, it wouldn’t be a Two Point game without a twist,” the description continues.

“Rather than typical academic fare, students in Two Point County enjoy a range of wild and wonderful courses: from Knight School, to the salivatory Gastronomy, where your students will build mouth-watering concoctions like giant pizzas and enormous pies.”

The academic year begins with a summer break, giving players time to plan before their students move in. “Build libraries, hire the best staff (from eccentric professors to madcap researchers), kit your campus out with the best courses and watch the academic potential of your students get unlocked.”

The description continues: “But it’s not just work hard. Get to know your students, explore their individual personalities, wants and needs. Keep them happy with clubs, societies, gigs.

“Surround them with friends, help them develop relationships, furnish them with pastoral care and ensure they have the right amount of joie de vivre to develop into incredible individuals who will do the legacy of your university proud.”

The studio’s first game, Two Point Studios, was a spiritual successor to classic simulation title Theme Hospital.

Created by Bullfrog and Lionhead alumni Gary Carr, Mark Webley and Ben Hymers, the spiritual successor was released for PC in August 2018.

Sega acquired developer Two Point Studios in May 2019. Following the acquisition, Two Point Studios became a wholly owned Sega studio, alongside Creative Assembly, Sports Interactive, Relic Entertainment, Amplitude Studios and Hardlight.
