The NBA 2K25 release date and cover stars have been revealed

2K has announced the NBA 2K25 release date and revealed the cover stars for this year’s game.

NBA 2K25 will be released on September 6, 2024 for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PC and Nintendo Switch.

NBA All-Star and Boston Celtics forward Jayson Tatum will be the cover star for the NBA 2K25 Standard Edition.

The NBA 2K25 All-Star Edition will feature dual cover stars, with Tatum appearing alongside Las Vegas Aces forward A’ja Wilson, a two-time WNBA MVP and six-time WNBA All-Star.

Wilson will also grace the cover of the NBA 2K25 WNBA Edition, a GameStop exclusive physical edition that will be available in the US and Canada.

2024 Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame inductee, eight-time All-Star and two-time All-NBA Team star Vince Carter will feature on the cover of the NBA 2K25 Hall of Fame Edition.

The Standard Edition of the game is available to pre-order for $69.99 / £69.99 on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One, £59.99 on PC, and £49.99 on Nintendo Switch.

The WNBA Edition will be available for $69.99 on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S in North America only.

The All-Star Edition will cost $99.99 / £89.99 on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, Switch and PC. It will come with:

• 100,000 VC and MyTEAM content
• 10 MyTEAM Player Cards (3 guaranteed to be 89 OVR)
• 3 Diamond Shoe Cards, 3 Takeover Boosts
• 1 Amethyst Coach Card
